How to make persimmon jam
Wash the persimmons, blanch them and then peel them.
Remove the bones, then collect the pulp in a bowl.
Then transfer it to a saucepan over the heat together with sugar, rum and lemon juice.
Cook for about 20 minutes and then use an immersion blender to obtain a smooth and homogeneous jam.
Continue cooking until the consistency you want.
At this point pour the jam into the sterilized jars with the help of a funnel.
Close with the caps and turn the jars upside down until they cool completely.
Your persimmon jam is ready.
