Recipe Veal in potato and mushroom crust of 09-12-2007 [Updated on 28-08-2018]
With great honor I present to you the first recipe that my boyfriend invented and prepared all by himself. In fact, last night, struck by the syndrome of the Ratatouille movie "everyone can cook", he wanted to cook for me for once, inventing the recipe for veal in a potato and mushroom crust, and this was the delicious result.
How to make Veal in a potato and mushroom crust
In a pan with a drizzle of olive oil, simmer the two slices of veal for a couple of minutes on each side, along with some potato slices.
Sauté the mushrooms and cut the remaining potatoes into small pieces.
Arrange mushrooms and potatoes in the blender, add half a clove of garlic and chop everything until you get a thick cream.
Remove the veal slices from the pan and place them on a plate.
Now flour the veal slices and sprinkle them with the potato and mushroom cream until the whole surface is covered. Add flour until the crust adheres perfectly to the meat.
Cook the crusted veal slices in hot oil until the potato and mushroom crust is golden brown.
Now arrange the slices of crusted veal on a serving dish and serve with the potatoes.
